Normal Saline 500 mL is a sterile solution of sodium chloride (NaCl) in water that is widely used for a range of medicinal applications. It is often known as 0.9% Sodium Chloride Solution because it contains 0.9% sodium chloride by weight, the same quantity present in the body's cells and blood.
